What The Dodo Suite is

The Dodo Suite is a set of desktop applications (Super Dodo Terminal and HostHelper) used by hosts who run Animal Crossing: New Horizons Treasure Islands. Hosts use these apps to manage their islands, queues, and player access through websites they operate individually.

This website (thedodosuite.com) serves as:

A documentation wiki for hosts.
A central account portal where players can log in to view which Dodo Suite sites they have signed up on, manage their central account, and delete their data.

You do not create an account on thedodosuite.com directly. Accounts are created through individual host websites powered by The Dodo Suite. If you opted in to the central database during signup on a host's site, you can log in here to manage that central account.

Age requirement

You must be 18 years or older to create an account on any Dodo Suite website. Date of birth is verified at signup.

What data is collected

Central database (thedodosuite.com)

If you opted in to the central database when signing up on a host's site, the following is stored centrally on Cloudflare:

Email address
Dodo Token (your login credential, not a tracking token)
Date of birth
Contact methods (up to 6, such as Discord username, Twitter handle, etc.) and your preferred contact type
Player and island name pairs (up to 8)
Player icon
Site visit records: which host websites you have logged into or signed up on (host ID and website URL only, used so you can see and manage your accounts across sites)

This data exists so you can use the same account across multiple Dodo Suite websites without creating separate accounts on each one. It is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose other than letting you log in and manage your account across sites.

Local host data (individual host websites)

Each host who runs a Dodo Suite website stores a local copy of your account on their own computer. This includes the same information listed above plus host-specific data such as:

Access tier (Free, Paid, or Banned)
Subscription info (if applicable)
Ban notes (if applicable)
Nintendo ID records (if verified through a queue visit)
Messages sent to you by the host

Each host is independently responsible for the data stored on their own machine. The Dodo Suite (whatsapixel) does not have access to or control over data stored locally by individual hosts.

Browser storage (this website)

thedodosuite.com uses your browser's local storage (not cookies) to keep you logged in during your session. The following is stored in your browser only:

Your email, Dodo Token, and account ID (cleared when you log out)
Wiki step progress (so your place is saved when you return)

This data never leaves your browser and is not sent to any server other than to authenticate your login.

What we do not collect

We do not use analytics or tracking of any kind.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts.
We do not collect IP addresses in the central database.
We do not sell, share, or provide your data to any third party.

How your data is used

Authentication: your email and token are used to log you in.
Account portability: your profile data (contacts, player/island pairs, icon) syncs to host sites you visit so you do not have to re-enter it.
Site directory: visit records let you see which Dodo Suite sites you have accounts on, so you can manage or delete them.
Age verification: date of birth is checked at signup and during token recovery to verify your identity.

Deleting your data

Central account (thedodosuite.com)

You can delete your central account at any time by logging in at thedodosuite.com and using the delete option. This removes all of your data from the central database immediately. This does not affect local accounts stored by individual hosts.

Local accounts (host websites)

To delete your data from a specific host's site, log in to that site and use the delete option on your profile page. This removes your local account from that host's computer immediately.

Deleting from one place does not delete from the other. If you want your data removed everywhere, you need to delete your local account on each host site you have used, and then delete your central account here.

thedodosuite.com shows you a list of sites you have visited so you can find and manage each one.

Data storage and security

The central database is hosted on Cloudflare.
All communication between your browser and the central database uses HTTPS.
Dodo Tokens are generated as random strings and are not derived from personal information.
Local host data is stored on each host's own computer and is their responsibility to secure.

Third-party services

thedodosuite.com does not integrate any third-party services. The site links to external resources (such as GitHub and Discord) but does not embed or load anything from them.

Individual host websites may use PayPal for subscription payments. PayPal's own privacy policy applies to those transactions. The Dodo Suite central database is not involved in payment processing.

Host responsibilities

Each host operates their own website independently using The Dodo Suite software. Hosts are responsible for:

The data stored on their own computer (local accounts, ban records, Nintendo ID records).
How they use the tools provided (banning, messaging, account management).
Any additional services or integrations they add to their site.

The Dodo Suite (whatsapixel) provides the software and the central database. We do not operate individual host websites and are not responsible for how hosts manage their local data.

Open source

Super Dodo Terminal and SysBot.ACNHOrders are licensed under AGPL 3.0. The source code is publicly available on GitHub. You can review exactly what the software does at any time.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the "last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of The Dodo Suite after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.

Terms of use

You must be 18 years or older to use any Dodo Suite website.
You are responsible for keeping your Dodo Token secure. Do not share it with others.
Hosts may ban accounts at their discretion for violations of their site rules.
The Dodo Suite is provided as-is, without warranty. We are not responsible for data loss, downtime, or issues caused by individual hosts.
Abuse of the system (creating fake accounts, harassment, circumventing bans) may result in your account being banned across all Dodo Suite sites.
