Setup on a Team Discord Server (Team Member)

Discord server alongside the team website (member)

If the Team Discord Server has already been setup by your HubHost, you can complete the following setup:

• In SDT, open an island's detail panel (click the island tile)
• Under the Hosts icon() open Discord Bot Settings to setup each island
  • Name in Discord
  • Island Channel (set up auto-create channels in the unified bot panel in HostHelper - ask your HubHost if this is turned on)
  • Channel Avatar
  • Island Page URL → You should not need this. If you do please reach out on (invite link coming soon) so I can document and fix it. Only included this in case anyone has an issue with this link not generating correctly.
  • Message Template
  • Live Message Preview
  • Loop Interval
  • Island/Discord Map Image (if you want it to send something different than what you have assigned in the island host details panel
  • Discord Channel Behavior
  • Channel Roles
  • Click Save when you're satisfied
  • Repeat for as many islands as you have
• That's it! Check the server to confirm your channels are there. Test connecting a switch and opening your gates to see the status messages.
